Instructions on how to set this up

Here are a few steps on how to get this working.  You need to have access to the back-end of your website and then add some details that will allow the shopVOX cProtal to be hosted on your website...and Voila!  Have Your branding!

Step One

So you have decided to have your cPortals white labeled.... branded with YOUR brand!

Contacting us is the very first step. Our engineers will do some configurations on the server. This information will then be given to you.

Step Two

Go to your hosting provider (Godaddy, etc.) and go to the area where you manage the DNS settings for your hostname.

The following screenshots will be using a Godaddy account.

Step Three

Under the Records section, choose the option to create a new record:

Select CNAME as the Type

For Host - enter any name you like, it could be shop or portal. You can include a period (.) but not as the first or last character. Consecutive periods (...) are not allowed. The host cannot exceed 25 characters or be the @ symbol

For Points to - direct your subdomain to portal.shopvox.com

Click Save

Step Four

Notify us at support@shopvox.com with a screen shot, when this is done and then we will send one more entry to make. We will send you the last step to setup, since this is specific to your shopVOX account.

When you create a cPortal, your customer will now have a cPortal that will have your web address.
