Making Job Board Line Items More Unique

Does your Job Board look cluttered and hard to navigate to find a specific job you are looking for? Once you add a list of jobs to your job board, it's easy to feel a little overwhelmed. Don't worry, we've got you covered! If your job board looks like this:

But, you want it to look more like this to make finding jobs easier:

How to clean up your job board

When adding a new line item to a quote or an order, here are the steps you can follow:

  1. On the Quote or Sales Order screen, click the green  {+Add New Item} button
  2. When selecting a Product; the Product's name will be entered in the {Name} field below by default.
  3. Change the {Name} of the Product to a more specific, but brief; description. We recommend titling your jobs with customer name and brief descriptor of the product. Something like "Bob's Pizza Shack Polos" or "JR's Landscaping Toyota Tundra Partial Wrap"
  4. You can also change the description below to reflect what you are selling to your customer 

Would you like to change Line Items already added to your job board?

You can edit the title of the line items on your job board at any time!

  1. Open the Sales Order screen where that job line item exists
  2. click the Blue {pencil icon} for that Line Item
  3. click the Orange/Yellow {Edit} button (Image 3)
  4. change the {Name} field as noted above
